Coba Pulskens is the third child of Nicolaas Pulskens and Johanna Adams.

During WW2 she was part of the Dutch underground resistance, and aided in hiding Jews and allied airmen.

On july 9th 1944 her house was raided by the Germans.
Coba got arrested and the pilots she was hiding were shot on the spot.
Two died in the garden, one in the kitchen.

They were:

Flight Officer RAAF Jacques Stewart Nott
77 squadron

Flight Lieutenant RAF Ronald Arthur Walker
83 squadron

Flight Officer RCAF Roy Edward Carter
431 squadron

When the pilot were shot Coba was ordered to cover the bodies with a sheet.
She went away and came back with a Dutch flag to cover the bodies. (This flag is now in the Tilburg town archive).

The bodies of the pilots were brought to Vught concentrationcamp to be cremated.
Coba was deported to Ravensbruck were she died in the gaschamber.
