She grew up and graduated from Clinton High School, MN in 1921.
She married S. Walter Beschenbossel, son of Caroline and Crist Beschenbossel, immigrants from Cuxhaven, Germany. They lived in White Bear Lake, MN. Walter was a Captain in the army during WWI in Italy. Mamie had been ill for some time and her mother, Rose Carlson, had gone to White Bear Lake to help care for her. She was admitted to Midway Hospital in St. Paul, MN where she died.
She was survived by her husband and two children, her parents Charley (Carl) and Rose Carlson of Clinton, MN
and two brothers and two sisters:
1. John "Edward" Carlson of Minneapolis, MN
2. Mrs. Nellie Carlson Bauman of Glenwood, MN
3. Lourance Carlson Stowers of Minneapolis, MN.
4. Oliver Carlson of Willmar, MN
Interment was at Duluth, MN. Exact cemetery unknown.
