Margaret Mauser was born in Saxony, Germany September 22, 1833 and emigrated to America when she was 18 years of age. One year later she was married to John H. Bellar at Aurora, Illinois, he being also a native of Germany. To this union were born seven children, one of whom died in infancy, the others living until they were grown and married, two of them, Mrs Jennnie Allen of Neligh and Mrs. Nettie Shellhart of Woodward, Oklahoma, passed away before her. One son Charles was lost trace of. The three left to survive her are Henry J. Bellar and Mrs. Emma Wright of Neligh, and Mrs. Mary Krebs of Lamro, S.D. John Bellar died July 9, 1869. In 1872 she was married to Daniel Fovargue at Lyons, Iowa on February 11. Mr Fovargue passed away September 22, 1910, at his home in Brunswick. Since his death she has made her home among her children. She died at the home of her granddaughter Mrs. Geo. Wilcox, March 13, 1911, of old age, after an illness of 25 days. She leaves to mourn her loss three children, 29 grandchildren and 66 great grandchildren.
