She is the Maternal granddaughter to Homer A. Bodenhamer & Hattie Florence Gray Bodenhamer.
She is the sister to Robert E. and Pauline.
Barbara married William Burdette Stone and together they are the parents of a living daughter and SGT William Stone, who was killed in Vietnam in 1968.

At the request of the deceased there are no funeral services scheduled for Derby Acres resident, Barbara I. Stone "Gram" 76.
Mrs. Stone was born in Bellflower on April 23, 1924 and passed away in the local hospital on December 30, 2000.
Mrs. Stone worked as a cook manager for Midway School for over 20 years.
After retirement from the Midway School Cafeteria, Mrs. Stone traveled throughout most of the United States with her husband and cat.
She loved to cook, write letters to old friends, play bunco and bingo and camp whenever possible.
She will be sorely missed by all whose lives she touched.
Mrs. Stone was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Minnie Smith and by her son, William Earl Stone in 1968. Mrs. Stone is survived by her husband, her daughter, her grandchildren, her seven great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother and her sister.
