Jacob A. Cook Dies After Long Illness
Jacob A. Cook, 77, retired employee of the Berne Equity, died at 6:15 a.m. today at the Berne Nursing Home. He had been bedfast since May of last year. Born in Wabash Township April 17, 1884, he was a son of Jacob and Frances Abnet-Cook. Four brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Yager Funeral Home, the Rev. C. H. Wiederkehr officiating. Burial will be in Bunker Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Friday.
