Deserted on April 9, 1863 Returned to duty on an unspecified date. Aaron appears on the Register of Receiving and Wayside Hopsital or General Hospital No. 9, Richmond, Va. as being admitted on Dec. 14, 1863. On January 03, 1864, Aaron dies of pneumonia in General Hospital No. 24, Richmond, Va. On the Company Muster Roll for May & June 1864, Aaron is reported as "absent sick". On the Muster Roll for Sept. & Oct., he is listed as absent. " Sent to Hospital December 1863, and never heard from since. Supposed to be dead."
