Occupation in 1870: School Teacher

-She was born on the Buckley farm two miles southwest of Fairfield, Indiana, and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Minnie Hauk, near Morristown, Indiana.
-She united with the Methodist Church at Blooming Grove over 50 years ago, later transferring her membership to Fairfield, retaining same there until death.
-She was one of a family of eleven children, eight girls and three boys; only two now remain, Mrs. Mattie Davis, of Morristown, and John T. Buckley, of Fairfield.
-In July, 1923 while living at Fairfield, she was stricken with paralysis and the following October she was taken to the home of her daughter. She was a chair invalid for nearly four years, being unable to stand or walk, and she was the constant care of her daughter who remained faithful to the end, caring for her aged mother until God said "Tis enough, Come up higher!"
-Funeral services were held at M.E. Church, Fairfield, Friday April 15th, at 10:30 o'clock A. M., conducted by Rev. Housman. Interment in Brier Cemetery. L. V. Hauk, undertaker, in charge.
