On January 23, 1918 Virgil L. Garringer and Eva Opal Morris were united in marriage at Anthony, Harper County, Kansas. This union resulted in one son Darrell Leon Garringer, Sr.

Shortly after the death of Eva in 1920, Virgil married a second time in circa 1921/22 to Joetta Devers, daughter of Charles and Emma Devers. Apparently this marriage ended in divorce.

Some evidence indicates that Virgil also married a third time late in life to someone named Eunice. However, I have not found any evidence to support this.
