George Hunt was born ca. 1685.


George Hunt served as a justice of the peace of Charles City County in 1734.


His will dtd.: November 02, 1725 and pro.: February 02, 1725/6, by John Hamersley, Samuel Harwood, Sr. and Charles Christian. He left Valentine Minge the 1000 acre plantation where he lived. To George and John Minge, sons of Valentine Minge, deceased, he left a total of 600 acres. To another Valentine Minge, George Hunt left his mill if Valentine paid Hunt's executors $65 within six months. Geoge Hunt left William Allen a slave "for services done me as overseer." Finally, Hunt dictated that the remainder of his estate was to be sold "towards securing John Macon as my security." George Hunt's uncle John Hunt and Samuel Harwood, Jr., were named as executors.
