Imogene was born near Celeste, Hunt County, Texas to Richard McDonald and Elizabeth Rutz Easley. She attended school in Bailey, Fannin County, TX and in Celeste, Hunt County, Texas where she graduated in 1934. She married Robert Lee Cawthon in 1942. They were divorced in 1946. In 1952 she married Gilbert Luther Morphew. They owned property near Wolfe City TX and raised cattle. Imogene was a Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church of Wolfe City Texas. She retired from Texas Instruments in 1982. She is survived by children, Bobby and Betty. She is survived by three grandchildren and a brother, Norris Easley of Wolfe City. Proceeding her in death were her parents, husband Gilbert Morphew, brothers, Earnest, Herman and Richard Lewis Easley and a sister Florence Elizabeth Easley. Burial was in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City Texas.∼
