In Loving Memory of Mrs. Estell Toney
During the quiet and silent night of July 7th, the Death Angels visited the home of Charlie Toney and carried away the dear mother and wife, Estelle.
She was loved by all who knew her. She lived a true Christian life from childhood.
She had been in ill health for a number of years. All was done for her that medical aid could do.
She was 51 years of age, and was the mother of 8 boys and 3 girls; four boys had gone on to meet the Savior. She was a devoted wife and mother and joined the Poplar Springs Baptist church when quite young. She afterwards moved to Kilbourne, La., where she made her home for the last 13 years.
She was laid to rest in Poplar Springs cemetery 'neath a mound of beautiful flowers.
Weep not dear loved ones. Our loss is Heaven's gain.
Written by one who loved her.
