Walter Kicklighter Died Monday In Glennville
Funeral services for Walter F. Kicklighter ,70,who died Monday, were held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Beard's Creek Primitive Baptist Church, conducted by Elder Guy E. Smith and Elder H.C. Stubbs. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers, nephews, were Gene Kicklighter, C.J. Kicklighter, Harold Kicklighter, Dean Stubbs, Barry Stubbs, and Harry Woodcock.
Honorary pallbearers were A.G. Oliver, C.W. Kicklighter, Lucious Kennedy, J. Roland Hodges, H.E. Easterling, Alton Bacon, Dr. Charles Drake, Ernest Strickland, Clyde Brannen, Wilfred Kicklighter, Tally Bland, Wally Brannen, Buck Brewton, Vernon Dasher.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Beulah Padgett Kicklighter, of Glennville; three daughters, Mrs. Ollie J. Rush, Rockingham, N.C., Mrs. James R. Harper, Toccoa, Mrs. H.A. Sapp, Glennville; four sons, Vondese, Elmer, and Billy, all of Glennville and Jack Kicklighter of Reno, Nev.; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; four brothers, Herley, Alvin, Marvin, and Earl Kicklighter, all of Glennville; two sisters, Mrs. B.F. Anderson, Shellman's Bluff and Mrs. Carl Stubbs, Glennville.
