Services were held for Mr. Marzell Purser, 73, Friday, Nov. 2, 1990, from Mims Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Terry Runnels and Rev. Judene Purser officiating. Interment was in Sharon Cemetery.
Mr. Purser died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 1990, at the University Medical Center, Jackson. He was self employed mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs.. Lois Purser of Magee; three sons, Johnny Purser of Mendenhall, Jerry Purser and Gary Purser, both of Magee; four daughters, Joyce LaBiche of Austin Texas, Kathryn Perkins of Laurel, Linda Purser and Marsha Craft, both of Magee; one brother, Charlie Purser of Magee; two sisters, Mattie Williamson of Magee and Lillian Blair of Mendenhall; 13 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Mims Mitchell of Magee was in charge of the arrangements.
