Kaysville – James Ray Talbot, 81, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011.

He was born on May 3, 1929 in Santaquin, Utah the son of James Edwin and Miralta Dickinson Talbot.

James married Verona Chamberlain on June 15, 1951, in the Manti LDS Temple.

He was a Korean War veteran, serving in the U.S. Army.

He retired from Hill Air Force Base in 1993 and continued to work part-time.

James enjoyed fixing things, watching sports, puttering in his shed, visiting with friends and family. He was known for helping those in the neighborhood with any need.

Surviving are his wife, and children: Nancy Done, Linda (Chuck) Stephan, Deanne (Jeff) Russell, Janell Talbot, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the Gailey Park Ward, 50 W. 331 So., Kaysville.

Friends may visit family on Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 at the church.

Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
