She married Rile Dutton, July 19, 1955 in Fredonia, Arizona. They were later divorced.
She married Arden Vern Johnson, March 25, 1979 in Elko, Nevada. He died December 4, 2005.
She was a member of the LDS Church. She retired after 25 years as Supervisor at the State Mental Hospital in Provo in the Hope Unit. She lived in Provo and Payson for many years, and after Arden died, she moved to Monroe to be closer to her family.
Ruth enjoyed gardening, doing crafts, traveling and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Darlene and Randy Syddall of Monroe; Robert Blaine Dutton of Joseph; Dwayne R. Dutton of Provo; step;-sons: Brett Johnson of Provo and Brandon Johnson of Santaquin; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers and one sister: Ray Talbot, Bertha Lindstrom and Dee Edwin Talbot.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel in Richfield, where friends may call for viewing Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 prior to the services.
Burial will be in the Fountain Green Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah
