Former Resident of Trinity Dies in Corpus Christi September 11
John B. Hansard, former Trinity resident, died September 11, at Corpus Christi. Funeral services were held at Cedar Grove cemetery, Trinity, Monday, Sept. 12, at 4 p m by Rev. Barney Thames.
Pallbearers were C. C. Hurt, W. F. Miller, Red Baker, Goree Gates, Tom Arnold, and Harry Cohen.
Mr. Hansard was born January 14, 1865, in Georgia. He lived in Triniyt [sic Trinity] for a number of years, being a section foreman on the railroad here.
Survivors are a son, Dan Hansard of the veterans hospital in Waco, two stepsons, Raymond Jordan of Corpus Christi and Rick Jordan of Sweeney, one stepdaughter, Mrs. Scogins [sic Scroggins] of Albuerquerque [sic - Albuquerque], N. M., and two sisters, Mrs. Black of Houston, and Mrs. Leach of Alba.
