Obituary:

Little Don Hansard Dead

Little Don, the 5-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Hansard died at the home of his parents near Thompson Bros. saw mill, Monday morning, May 1, about 9 o'clock.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. F. Kidd, pastor of the Methodist church, Tuesday afternoon, who spoke in words of tenderest sympathy and comfort, and burial took place at the city cemetery.

The baby life of this fair flower, picked on the first of May, was so precious and seemed a flower of paradise permitted to bloom by his parents' side, for a brief season only, and then -
Death came with friendly care,
The opening bud to Heaven conveyed,
And bade it blossom there.
