William Russell Bragg, 86, of 628 Hart St., a retired employee of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company and the Consolidated Coal Company, died Thursday, July 29, at his residence. His death was unexpected. Mr. Bragg was born at Blueville, Taylor County, Sept. 19, 1879, the son of George A. Bragg and Josephine Gunnon Bragg. His wife Dessie V. Bragg, died in 1946. Surviving are four sons, George D. Bragg, of Wellington, Ohio; John L., of 1209 E. Main St., Clarksburg; James E., of 336 Capital Ave., Clarksburg; and Charles R., of Fort Morgan, Colo.; one brother, Homer Bragg of Pittsburgh, Pa., and 13 grandchildren. William Russell Bragg was a member of the Clarksburg Baptist Church. Three brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
