Betty Jo (Jacobs) Todd, 66, Goshen, died Tues. May 31, 2011 at her residence. She was born April 9, 1945 to Fred & Jewel (Dyrin) Springer in Wilson, Ark. She married Leon Jacobs on June 22, 1963 and he died Nov. 3, 2007.
Surviving are a daughter, Betty (Lee) Fry, Sarasota, Fla., son, Sherman Jacobs, Goshen, sisters, Sue Looney, Goshen, Charlotte (Kenneth) Moore, Hardy, Ark., brothers, Scott Springer, Edwardsburg, Mich., Robert (Jane) Springer, Goshen, 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Preceding her in death are her parents and sisters, Athalene Brazeal & Joyce Taylor.
Betty Jo was formerly employed at Goshen Rubber, a member of the Pentecostal Church, Goshen, assisted at LaCasa and enjoyed making pot holders & cooking.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Fri. June 3, at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen, where the service will be at 10 a.m. Sat. June 4. Pastor David Hackney will officiate and burial will be in Elkhart Prairie Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
