July 17, 1946 -Dec. 30, 2009 GOSHEN - F. Joyce Taylor, 63, of 1425 Greencroft Dr., died at 4:12 p.m. Wednesday (Dec. 30, 2009) at her home. She had been ill her entire life. She was born July 17, 1946 in Wilson, Ark., to Fred and Jewell (Diron) Springer. On Nov. 13, 1962, in Goshen, she married Raymond M. Taylor.

She is survived by a daughter, Deb (Darell) Lewis of Goshen; two sons, Jeffie R. Taylor of Westville and Raymond (Leah) Taylor of Goshen; four sisters, Betty Todd of Goshen, Athalene Brazel of Goshen, Charlotte (Kenneth) Moore of Hardy, Ark., and Sue Looney of Goshen; two brothers, Robert E. (Jane) Springer of Goshen and Scott D. (Victoria) Springer of Edwardsburg; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and nine nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Steve A. Taylor.

Mrs. Taylor retired in June 2007 from Oaklawn Hospital, where she worked for 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and shopping and was an avid collector of cookbooks and salt and pepper shakers.

Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m.

Sunday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, 1911 S. Main St., Goshen, and one hour prior to the funeral service at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. David Hackney of New Paris Missionary Church will officiate. Burial will be in Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen.

Memorials may be given to Goshen Care at Home Hospice or the American Heart Association.
