RODRIGUEZ: Susan Alires Rodriguez, 64, died Tuesday in El Paso. Mrs. Rodriguez was born in Sherman, NM and was a lifelong resident of Grant County. She was a communicant of Santa Clara Catholic Church. Mrs. Rodriguez is survived by her husband, Jose D. Rodriguez of Central; two daughters, Rosalie Candice Rodriguez of Central and Toni Provencio of Silver City; three sons, Richard Rodriguez of Phoenix, John Paul Rodriguez of Pine Ridge, S.D. and Joseph Andrew Rodriguez of Central; three sisters, Lorenza Kirker of Central, Amelia Garza and Beatrice Olson of Los Angeles, Ernesta Alires of Central; 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Rosary recitation was held Thursday and Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated Friday. Both services were held at Santa Clara Catholic in Central with father Paul Ragazinskas officiating. Interment followed at the Central cemetery. Serving, as pallbearers were Richard Rodriguez Jr., Joseph Daniel Rodriguez, Jesse Atencio, Henry Atencio, Lawrence Atencio and Henry Turrey.
