TROPIC--Marvin Mont Shakespear, 56, died Nov. 9, 1976 in a St. George Hospital after a short illness.
He was born Oct. 29, 1920, Tropic, to William J. and Matilda Stalworthy Shakespear. Married Rella Ott, St. George LDS Temple; later divorced. He had been a farmer and former employee of the Utah Department of Transportation.
Survivors: son, daughters Mrs. Mon Dell (Florence) Syrett, Marvin Mont Shakespear, Jr., Tropic; Mrs. Kenneth (Carole) Adair, Bountiful; Mrs. Lynn (Sonia) Allen, Panguitch, eight grandchildren, brothers, sisters, Vernal, ALton, E.R., Obie, both Tropic; Mrs. Leon (Eulla) Parkinson, Roy; Mrs. George (Aletta) Dodds Sacramento, Calif.; Mrs. Mildred Cannon, St. George; Mrs. Wayne (Ina) Fairchild, Medford, Oregon.
Funeral services were Friday in the Tropic LDS Chapel under the direction of Bishop Franz Shakespear. Prelude and Postlude music, Judy Chynoweth; family prayer, E.R. Shakespear; song, Relief Society Chorus, opening prayer, Leon Parkinson; speaker, Wallace Ott; vocal trio,Leona Stewart, Marian and June Shakespear; speaker, Clive Bybee; speakers Bishop Franz Shakespear; song Relief Society Chorus; closing prayer George Dodds.
Pallbearers were Chad Shakespear, Vance Shakespear, Bill Shakespear LaMar Shakespear, Carl Shakespear, MonDell Syrett, Rett Shakespear, Danny Shakespear, Lynn Allen, Olaf Shakespear, and Marvin Mont Shakespear, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers were Alton Vernal, Jay, Obie Shakespear, Kenneth Adair and Wayne Fairchild.
