Suggested edit: Adelaide K. Crowley, 79, died January 4, 1992 at a Mt. Desert health care facility. She was born December 16, 1912 at Beals Island, the daughter of John and Geneva (Beal) Faulkingham. She is survived by two sons, Richard Crowley and his wife Ellie of Steuben, Harvey Crowley and his wife Sharon of Hancock; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four sisters, Cinderella, Edith, Pearle and Bernice; four brothers, Lemont, Leslie, Leeman and Albert; many nieces and nephews and cousins. She will be remembered by a special friend “Pat” and a special niece Cathy. She was predeceased by her husband Virgil Crowley in 1978; one sister and two brothers. Friends are invited to visit with the family 6-8 P.M. Wed. at the Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home, 215 Main Street, Ellsworth, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday January 9, 1992 with Elder Richard Carlson officiating. Internment will be at Sewall Field Cemetery, Beals. Contributions may be made in Adelaide’s memory to the American Heart Association, p. O. Box 346, Augusta, ME 04330.
