He and Flora "Alice" Kibler (never married) had a son Henry C. Deppe born Nov 1884 in Carbon Co., Pa before he and his wife Annie left for North Carolina. He sold real estate. Cause of death: Pneumonia from surgery for an abscessed appendix.
