Helen (Granny) Merriwether HARRISON, born March 29, 1911, passed away February 17, 2002, in Bellville, TX. She was a member of Almeda Methodist Church and a Charter member of UMW.


She was preceded in death by husband Earl Harrison, parents, two brothers and one sister.


She is survived by two sisters, Marjorie Womack & Rosaline Ramsey, children Betty Fife, Sue Hughes, Jean and Edesal McQueen, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, nine great nieces and nephews.


Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews. Honorary Pallbearers will be H. B. And Dennis Bailey. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 19, 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at South Park Funeral Home where services will be held Wednesday, February 20, at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel with Rev. Jim Ainsworth officiating. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. Special thanks to Connie and all the staff at Colonial Belle for the loving care you all gave Mom.
