Services for Leonard J. Boyd, 71, of 4008 Fifteenth St., who died of a stroke Monday at his home, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Born in Illinois, Mr. Boyd lived in Des Moines 30 years and was a retired maintenance employee of Little Giant Crane and Shovel.
Survivors include one daugther, Linda Smith of Des Moines; two brothers, Melvin of Springfield, Ill., and Gavin of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and three grandchildren.
