Louise was washing the dishes and Diane Oschegger was drying the dishes when Louise didn't feel good and went to lay down, Diane was 11 years old at the time and called her mother Zelda up to tell her that her Nana wasn't feeling well and to come over. When Zelda got to her mother's house she went into the room where her mother was laying down and closed the door. Diane heard her mother say " Oh no mama" Louise had passed away from hardening of the arteries. She had not been sick at all, it came on suddenly.

January 25, 1951 at her late residence in El Cerrito. Louise May, Wife of the late Louis Marshall, beloved wife of Charles May, loving mother of Clarence Marshall, Zelda Oschegger, Step-son Marshall May and devoted sister of Gloria Gomes, Mary Linhares and Lena Ray, William and Edward Rogers and the late Annie Pine and Margaret Gomes; grandmother of Clarence Marshall, Dolores, Yvonne and Diane Oschegger; and Step-grandson Marshall May Jr., a native of San Juan, California.

Louise's first name is Cathilda, but she always went by Louise.

Friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Monday, January 29, 1951 at 11 a.m. at the East Lawn Chapel of Hanrahan Wadsworth-Pine & Borba. E. 14th at 5th Avenue. Interment Sunset View Cemetery for further information call GL encourt 1-6942
