Elizabeth "Libby" (Crow) was born in York Co., Pennsylvania, in c.1760, a daughter of Jacob Homer Crow & Susannah (Seigrist). Libby was raised in colonial Pennsylvania, and as a young girl, she moved westward through Pennsylvania with her parents & siblings. By 1770's, her family had settled in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania [formed 02/1773] during the Revolutionary War years and then Washington County, Pennsylvania [formed 03/1781].

Indian Attack/ Crow Family Massacre:
May 1, 1791 • Dunkard Fork, Reyerson Station, Washington Co. (now Greene Co.), Pennsylvania ----
Four of the Crow sisters, walking to the adjacent farm, were attacked by Indians and a renegade. Two sisters died at the scene, Elisabeth "Elis" survived for 3 days, and Tina escaped/survived.

Death:
4 MAY 1791 • Reyerson Station, Washington Co. (now Greene Co.), Pennsylvania
Elisabeth died 3 days after Indian attack of May 1, 1791
