Preston was born on August 31, 1939 in Stanton, Texas to Mallie and Ethel Mae Baze.
He married Marvelene on October 22, 1990 in Midland Texas. He retired from Doyle Thompson as a welder in 2004. His hobbies were being on Team Roping and chicken fighting. He served in the Army from 1963 to 1967.
Preston is survived by his wife, Marvelene Baze of Midland, TX; mother, Ethel Baze of Midland, TX; son, Stuart and LaMuir Baze of Blue Ridge, GA; daughter, Tamara and Jaime Reyes of Midland, TX; son, Cal Baze of Lewisville, TX; step daughter Candy Miller and Jimmy Myers of Midland, TX; step daughter, Amy and Bobby Nelson of Midland, TX; brother, Albert and Waynette Baze of Midland, TX; grandchildren, Bradley, Preston, Shelby, and Stephanie of Blue Ridge, GA, Peyton, Pettit, and Austin Reyes of Midland, TX, Hailey Baze of Lewisville, TX, Bailey Miller, Hanna and James Myers of Midland, TX, Brittany and Stormy Nelson of Midland, TX; and great granddaughter Autumn Miller of Levelland, TX.
