April 30, 1919 - July 27, 2012 ---- Ethel C. Baze, 93, of Midland, passed away Friday, July 27, 2012, at her son's home. Ethel was born in Clint, TX, on April 30, 1919, to Mr. Albert Henry Celum and Mrs. Cinthia Medlock Celum. She graduated from Clint High School. Ethel met and married the love of her life, George Mallie Baze on September 26, 1936, in Clint, TX. On June 25, 1951, she went to work for ATMOS Energy, where she retired on July 1, 1986, after a career of 35 years. Ethel was a member of the Living Church of God. She is preceded in death by both of her parents; her loving husband, Mallie Baze of Midland, TX; son, Preston Baze of Midland, TX; and sister, Thelma Rogers of San Antonio, TX

Ethel is survived by her son, Albert S. Baze (Waynette); sister, Hazel Witmer; eight great-grand- children; as well as several nieces and nephews. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.
