Francis L. Connelly, (better known as Frank) was the seventh child of Peter Connelly and Belle Cassidy Connelly. Frank was born March 15, 1885 at the family home, 319 Ontario Street, Volney township, Oswego County. He was baptized June 14, 1885 at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, South Third Street, Village of Fulton. Witnesses were: John Kernan, Mary Lynch. Frank Connelly never married. Frank left Fulton and Oswego County and moved to Syracuse where he became employed with the Franklin Automobile Factory on Geddes Street, he was hired as a machinist. Both Frank and his brother Michael were fascinated with the new horseless carriage. In 1907, Michael left Syracuse and headed west for Detroit, Michigan, where he found ready employment with the new Ford Motor Company. On July 27, 1910 Frank Connelly was admitted to Saint Joseph's Hospital, 301 Prospect Avenue, Syracuse. He had contracted Meningitis (non-contagious) after becoming ill with Typhoid Fever. Frank Connelly was in the hospital twelve days and died on August 08, 1910 at l o'clock a.m. He was 25 years, 4 months, 17 days. Burial was made on the 'old' Connelly lot (on the hill) at Saint Mary's Cemetery. Fulton. No personal burial marker.

Francis L. Connelly, aged 25, died on Monday morning at Saint Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse, after a brief illness with Typhoid Fever. The remains were brought to this city from where the funeral services were held this morning. The immediate survivors are three brothers, John Thomas and James Peter of Syracuse, and Michael A., of Detroit; also by two sisters, Anna of Fulton and Mrs. John (Elizabeth) Macksey of Syracuse.
