Funeral services for P. A. Self, 67, who passed away at his Kelly residence September 8 at 9 a.m. were held September 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Castor cemetery near Leesville, with Rev. Pratt McCloud, pastor of East Leesville Baptist church in charge.

Survivors are: wife, 3 daughters, Mrs. Boyd White, Big Lake, Texas; Mrs. W. F. Braddock, of Kelly and Mrs. J. L. Laird, Kelly; one son, E. C. Self of Kelly; six sisters, Mrs. Bertha Bolg[i]ano, Mrs. Lillie Harvey, Mrs. Ethel Snell, Mrs. Dona Rowzee, Mrs. Pearl Legg, and Mrs. Hazel Dunn, all of Leesville; three brothers, Reveree Self and Hyman Self, both of Leesville, and Jim Self of Lake Charles; and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Russell Rowzee, Fred Rowzee, Burt Bray, Clarence Bolgiana and Ruphus Laird.

Interment was made in the Castor cemetery under the direction of the Riser Funeral Home of Columbia.
