Sammie Jo Beall Gilliam Daniels, 80, of Benbrook passed away Sunday, October 8, 2006, in Fort Worth. Funeral rites held Friday at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial was in Granbury Cemetery.
Mrs. Daniels was born August 31, 1926, in Coleman to D.B. and Clara Gafford Beall. The former resident of Granbury had lived in Benbrook 42 years. She worked for General Dynamics. She was a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star Arlington Chapter 249.
Her parents, a daughter, Thea Jo Gilliam Seymour; son, Van Scott Gilliam; and a brother, W.W. (Curly) Beall preceded her in death.
Survivors are her husband, Wayne Daniels of Benbrook; son, Dohn Gilliam and wife, Norma, of Granbury; step-daughters, Sandra Cook and husband, John, of Fort Worth, Donna Daniels of Fort Worth, Carol Cleland and husband, Stephen, of Suzanville, California; step-son, Douglas Daniels and wife, Sue, of Fort Worth; brother, R.W. (Rex) Beall and wife, Dorothy, of Deer Park; sister, Evelyn Groom of Arlington; daughter-in-law, Beth Gilliam of Granbury; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
