Gilliam died Monday, January 10, 2005 in Granbury. The Granbury native was born Dec. 14, 1954 to Curtis and Sammie Jo Beall Gilliam. He married Beth Porter, Jan. 16, 1988 in Fort Worth. He was a 1973 graduate of Granbury High School where he was an outstanding football player.

Survivors are his wife, Beth L. Gilliam; sons, Bill Earlston and wife, Jennifer and Stephen Gilliam; daughters, Stephanie Gilliam and Sabrina Earlston Perry; six grandchildren; mother, Sammie Jo Daniels and husband, Wayne; step-mother Peggy Gilliam; brothers and wives, Dohn and Norma Gilliam, Stacy and Angie Gilliam, Tracy and Traci Gilliam, eight nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are by Wiley Funeral Home of Granbury.
