OHIO MARRIAGE RECORD
To the Honorable Judge of the Probate Court of Hamilton County, Ohio:
The undersigned respectfully represent that he is one of the applicants for a Marriage License, and upon being duly sworn deposes and says that his name is Zora Delk, that he was 22 years of age on the 18 day of July A.D. 1924, that his residence is Hartwell - Cin O that his place of birth was Kentucky that his occupation is Iceman that his father's name is George Delk that his mother's maiden name was Vernettie Walls that the applicant was not previously married, that he is not nearer of kin to Lida Adkins than second cousin and that there is no legal impediment to his being married, and that he is not an habitual drunkard, epileptic, imbecile or an insane person and is not now under the influence of any intoxicating liquor or narcotic drug. Wherefore, applicant prays that a Marriage License issue to himself and Lida Adkins. Be It Known, That License and Permission of Marriage are hereby granted unto Zora Delk and Lida Adkins and any minister of the Gospel, Justice of the Peace, or other person legally licensed to solemnize Marriages is hereby authorized to join them in Marriage according to law.

This is to certify that Mr. Zora Delk attended a training course in general law enforcement held at Somerset, Kentucky from November 30, 1948 to December 16, 1948 with the cooperation of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

OBITUARY
February 22, 1973
Zora Robert Delk, 70, 308 Vaught Street, Somerset, died Tuesday at Somerset City Hospital following an illness of one month.
He was born in Casey County on July 18, 1902, the son of George and Vernetta Walls Delk, both deceased.
He married the former Lida Adkins on June 9, 1925, and she preceded him in death in 1957.
Survivors include one son, James E. Delk of Dayton, Ohio;
three daughters, Agnes Helton of Somerset, Margaret Erp of Sharonville, Ohio, and Ruby White of Cincinnati;
two brothers, Herman Delk of Williamsburg, Ohio, and Ernest Delk of Cincinnati;
one sister, Florence Tinsley of California;
eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was employed by the Ice Company of Cincinnati and served as deputy sheriff in Pulaski County and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church since 1932.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Rev. Dean Gooch and Elder S.L. Sears officiating.
Burial will be in the Pine Thicket Cemetery at Bent.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today in the chapel of the Morris and Hislope Funeral Home.

His last living child, James, died in 2012.
