OBITUARY
Virgil Delk, 67, Waynesburg Route 1, died at 5 a.m. Sunday July 12 at Ft. Logan Hospital, Stanford, after a year's illness.
A native of Lincoln County, he was a retired farmer and a member of the Walltown Christian Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Lillian Campbell Delk;
two daughters, Mrs. Ada Shearer and Mrs. Vernetta Lucas, Waynesburg Route 1;
a son Chief Petty Officer Donald Delk, Norfolk, Va;
three brothers, Zora Delk, Shopville, Herman Delk, Blanchester, Ohio, and Ernest Delk, Sharonville, Ohio;
a sister, Mrs. Florence Tinsley, Elmwood, Ohio;
six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Walltown Christian Church by the Rev. Orlando Rogers and the Rev. Paul Patton.
Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery, Waynesburg.
The body will be taken from the Beazley and Raney Funeral Home to the residence at 9:30 a.m. today.
