Clumpner, Billie G. Horace 85 10/22/1924 08/29/2010 Billie passed away Aug. 29, 2010, at her home in Milwaukie. She was surrounded by family and loved ones.
Billie was born in Springfield, Colo., Oct. 22, 1924. As a child taking it in stride, she survived the Depression years as well as living in the heart of the "Dust Bowl" of the 1930s. She was married to Raymond Horace for 52 years until his death in 1995. She married William Clumpner in 1998 and they were married until his death in 2009.
Billie is survived by her children, Cotty Levak, Kevin Horace, Janet Ell, and John Horace; six grandchildren; stepchildren, Leslie Bindschadler, Bill Clumpner, Joey Kelso, David Clumpner, and Jan Ramirez; eight step-grandchildren; loving sister, Theda Adams, of Arvada, Colo.; and brother-in-law, Jim Horace of Milwaukie. Billie always had a kind interest in everyone she met and she will be missed by all who knew her.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, in Christ the King Catholic Church, 7414 S.E. Michael Dr., Milwaukie, OR 97222. Memorial contributions may be made in Billie's memory to Christ the King Altar Society. Arrangements entrusted to Peake Funeral Chapel, 503-654-7755.
