He was born in Decatur Oct. 3, 1932. His father, Raymond Pumphrey, died in 1938. He attended Warren Grade School and Centennial Junior High School and enlisted in the Army in 1951. He was in Korea two years. In addition to his mother he leaves two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Patterson of Decatur, and Mrs. Jean Carrick of Greenville, and a brother, Richard of Ft. Sheridan. The body will be brought to the J. J. Moran & Sons Funeral Home. Arrangements are incomplete.
