MARION, Va. Edith P. Blevins, age 84, died Monday, May 23, 2011, at Francis Marion Manor in Marion. She was
born June 3, 1926, in Grayson County to the late Steve and Jeston Wells Plummer. Besides her parents, she was also preceded
in death by the love of her life, husband, David H. Blevins; and her son-in-law, David Gentry. She is survived by one daughter,
Diane Gentry; two sons, Cam Blevins and fiancA.e, Tracy Sizemore, all of Marion, and Gerald Blevins and wife, Ann, of Marion;
two sisters, Nancy Stoots of Mouth of Wilson, Va., and Kit Young of Sparta, N.C.; four grandchildren, Greg Blevins, Hope Garrick
and husband, John, Leslie Davidson and fiancA,, Billy Stickley, and Stacy Miller and husband, Wesley; and five greatgrandchildren,
Kayla Garrick, Haley Garrick, Brock Davidson, Maddox Blevins, and Brandon Miller. Funeral services will be held
Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at 6 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Rev. Doug Halsey officiating. Graveside services will be held
Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service Tuesday, at
