On Monday
Funeral services for James Marion Ayres, retired farmer, route 1, Cheyenne, who died Friday in an Elk City hospital following an extended illness, will be held Monday at 2:30 p. m. in the Berlin Church of Christ with Don Hicks, Sayre minister, officiating.
Born July 8, 1881 at Denion,(sic) Texas, Mr. Ayres came to western Oklahoma in 1902 and home steaded north of Berlin. He was married to Corda Robinette(sic) at Berlin, Oklahoma in 1904. He had made his home in the Berlin, Cheyenne, Sweetwater and Erick communities since then. He was a long time member of the Berlin Church of Christ.
He was preceded in deadth(sic) by his wife and one son.
Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. R. G. Barfield, Modesto, Calif., Mrs. George Porter, Pixley, Calif. (sic)
