Michael Howard Grinder, age 60, of St. Joe, Arkansas passed away Monday, May 22, 2011. He was born November 5, 1950 in Harrison, Arkansas to Howard and Connie (Ramsey) Grinder.

He is preceded in death by two sisters, Vicki and Ann.

Survivors include his parents: Howard and Connie Grinder of St. Joe; daughter Michelle Manes and husband Kevin of St. Joe; son Michael Grinder and wife Sherry of Anderson Flat; daughter Josie Smith and husband Brock of Marshall; grand-daughters: Lakin Manes, Ally Smith and Ashlynn Smith.; one brother, Frank Grinder of Harrison, and other family and friends that will miss him greatly.

Mike worked in construction for many years, which included building the bypass in Harrison and Highway 74. He later owned his own construction company.

He loved to fish, hunt and camp with his son and sons-in-law. His love and passion was his beagles and gardening. He also adored his three grand-daughters dearly.

Services for Mike Grinder will be 11:00 A.M Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas, with Bro. Doug Grinder officiating.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday , also at the Chapel. Burial will be in the Silver Hill Cemetery near St. Joe.
