Franklin "Bud" Elder Kelsey, 80, passed away in Mesa, Arizona, on Jan. 15, 2004, after a long battle with lung disease.

Bud was born on March 2, 1923, Lyndal, Utah. He worked at Geneva Steel Plant as a bricklayer for 33 years. He married Dixie Gabbitas in 1945.

They were wed for 49 years, until her death in 1994. He served in the Army Air Force, in England, during World War II.

Bud is survived by his daughter, Linda, and son-in-law, Calvin Stegall; his sister, Fern Farnsworth; many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services, January 20, 2004, Timpanogos Cemetery.
