Obituary ~ Sulphur Times-Democrat, Thursday, June 30, 1988:

Services for Mrs. Emily C Palmer, 81, long time resident of Sulphur, were held Tuesday, June 28, 1988, 10:00 a.m., in the First Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. A.L. McAffrey officiated.
Mrs. Palmer died Saturday, June 25, at the Artesian Nursing Home. She was born December 17,1906, at Asher, Ok. She married Onis B Palmer in Asher, Ok September 1,1928. He preceded her in death September 26, 1973.
A resident of Sulphur since 1928 Mrs. palmer was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Norvin palmer, Orange, Texas and Larry Palmer, Sukphur; two sisters, Mintha Hileman, Midwest City and Ora Parsons, Shawnee; two brothers, Floyd Perry, Shawnee, and Gordon Perry, Midwest City; eight grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Allen Hill, Larry Hobbs, Bob Seward, David Laster, Wayne McCracken, and Glen Leming.
Burail was in Oaklawn Cemetery here with Fox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
