This child lived only long enough to receive a name. As a boy, I remember seeing he gravestone on the front porch of Earl and Bessie Strong's house. This would have been about 1952. They still hadn't erected the stone in the cemetery. The child was named Francis for her aunt Sarah Francis Pounds, and Earlene for her father.
