Anna Bowman
Cerebral hemorrhage Sunday, May 22, 1932, at 11 a.m. claimed the life of Mrs. Anna Bowman, wife of E. O. Bowman, and a widely known resident of Smithfield. She was aged 71 years, five months and 18 days.
Besides her husband, one son, Paul Bowman, of Smithfield, survives together with the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. Lizzie Hibbs, Misses Minnie and Maggie Baer, D. H., John and Howard Baer, all of Smithfield, and Walter Baer, of Akron, Ohio. Six grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.
The funeral Cortege will meet at the family residence Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and proceed to the Methodist Episcopal Church, of which Mrs. Bowman was a life-long member, for services. Rev. Ronald Moseley will conduct the service assisted by Rev. C. D. A. Hoon. Burial in the Baptist Cemetery.
