Mr. Floris Scholtens, aged 88, of Grant, died Thursday, February 5, 2004 in Grant. He married Susanna DeVries September 5, 1941 in Grant and she preceded him in death April 14, 1999. He is survived by his children, Herman and Esther Scholtens of Grandville, Allen Scholtens of Wyoming, Robert and Cynthia Scholtens of Grant, Karen and Vince Bradley of Encinitos, CA, Calvin and Angela Scholtens of Howard City, Brenda and Ron Nelson of Fremont; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Kathryn Wolfsen of Grant, Helen Tibbe of Cedar Springs; brother-in-law, Henry Geers of Grant. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 7 at the Grant Christian Reformed Church with Pastor Case VanWyk officiating. Family Prayer Service at 10:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery near Grant. For memorials please consider the Grant Christian Reformed Church. Visitation will be held 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the McKinley Funeral Home in Grant.
