Mrs. Susanna Scholtens, aged 80, of Grant, died Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at Spectrum Health-Downtown Campus, Grand Rapids. Survived by her husband, Floris Scholtens of Grant; her children, Herman and Esther Scholtens of Grandville, Allen Scholtens of Grand Rapids, Robert and Cynthia Scholtens of Grant, Karen and Vince Bradley of Encinitas, CA, Calvin and Angela Scholtens of Howard City. Brenda and Ron Nelson of Fremont; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters, Kathryn and Cornelius Wolfsen of Grant and Helen and Donald Tibbe of Cedar Springs; brother-in-law, Henry Geers of FL; and sister-in-law, Geraldine Scholtens of Grant. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM from the Grant Christian Reformed Church on Saturday, April 17, 1999, with Pastor Case Van Wyk officiating. Interment in Hillside Cemetery. Family Prayer Services 10:45 AM. Visitation 7 to 9 PM Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Friday at the McKinley Grant Chapel. Memorials: In lieu of flowers please consider the W.H.Y. Society of the Grant Christian School.
