JERRY RONALD MERRILL
Jerry Ronald, infant son of Fred and Dorothy Merrill, was born Jan. 21, 1940, and departed this life on March 2, 1940, at the age of 5 weeks and 6 days.
He leaves to mourn his passing his parents; one sister, Betty Joan; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Benway, of Chariton; Mrs. Emma Merrill, of Ottumwa; and Mrs. Myra Oliver, of Fairfield; many aunts and uncles, other relatives and friends by whom he will be sadly missed. Two infant brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Paul H. Hicks, of the Methodist church, were held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock at the Beardsley funeral home, and burial was in the Chariton cemetery.
