Dorothy Wagoner

Dorothy married Lambert Wagoner on November 11, 1936 in Lake Mills, WI. He preceded her in death on December 3, 2004. Dorothy was a member of the Wild Rose United Methodist Church.

Dorothy and Lambert moved from Watertown to Saxeville in 1964 and then to Wild Rose in 1974. Dorothy moved to Wild Rose Manor on August 5, 2008. She had worked at various department stores, including Sears, Montgomery Wards, Klines, Coast to Coast and Ace Hardware all in Watertown. She enjoyed traveling and had taken her first airplane and boat ride at the age of 85. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing and crocheting.

She is survived by a Brother: John (Dolores) Wilson, Janesville, WI; Sister: Anna Anderson, Pardeeville, WI. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Ephriam Wilson, and four sisters, Clara Blaschka, Frances Reszynski, Lydia DeGrebe and Aletha June Wilson.

A Memorial Service will be held at Wild Rose United Methodist Church at 12:00 (Noon) on Friday, August 21st, 2009, with Reverend Yul Kwon officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 11 AM until the time of the service at the church. A luncheon will be held at the church immediately following the service. Burial of cremains will be in the Aztalan Cemetery, Jefferson Co., WI. at a later date. Memorials can be made to the Wild Rose United Methodist Church. The Holly Funeral Home of Wild Rose is assisting the family with arrangements.
