Anna Louise Wilson Anderson, 96, passed away at 12:25 a.m. on July 11, 2018, at her home within The Evansville Manor. Ann was born on December 23, 1921, in Lake Mills, WI, to John Wilson and Iva (Hopper) Wilson. On November 8, 1941, in Cambridge, WI, Anna Louise Wilson married Sgt. Everett Arthur Anderson, later becoming Lt. Colonel of the U.S. Air Force, who preceded her in death on June 12, 1998. Anna and Everett traveled the world in the 1940’s and 1950’s as a military family, finally grounding in McFarland, WI, and later owning, and operating a campground near the Portage, WI area, where Anna resided until moving to Evansville, WI in 2011 with her granddaughter, Tammy Jean. Anna thought her greatest legacy was her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She lit up a room with her big heart, her smile and her love, especially true through the eyes of her grandchildren. An avid collector of pictures throughout her life, and a craftswoman with the creation and hand-made of knitted attire, and refrigerator magnetic ornaments, while in parallel making the world’s best homemade cookies. Anna lived her life as a good Samaritan, and most importantly as the BEST grandmother, any grandchild could ever imagine.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, William Wilson and Ephraim Wilson; and sisters, Clara Blaschka, Dorothy Wagoner, Frances Erdman, Lydia Degree and Aletha Weihert. Surviving are her two children, a devoted brother, all 6 of her cherished grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit from 11:30am to 12:30pm on July 17, 2018 at Ward-Hurtley Funeral Home 130 South Fifth Street Evansville, WI. Where at 12:30pm a discussion down memory lane will be officiated by grandson, Donald Everett Andruss. Later that day, a burial will be held at 2:00pm in Roselawn Memorial Park 401 Femrite Drive, Monona WI.
